Both our laser cutters each have two distinct functions: engrave and cut.

Engraving can be done with either bitmap or vector files, and on any approved material of any thickness that fits in the cutting area of the machine.

Cutting requires a vector file; we generally recommend materials be 1/4" thick or thinner for clean through cuts.

In all cases, testing the (power%) / (speed) / (hz/dpi) ratio is crucial to successful projects. Be sure to bring in extra material to parameterize with and allow for testing time!
