Without permission from UTA's UAS Review Board, no one is allowed to fly drones or other UAVs outdoors on campus. The designated indoor space is the MAC soccer court, but it is presently closed due to COVID-19. The UTA policy designates Campus Recreation Fields South Complex (aka the Cricket Field), 1100 Allan Saxe Parkway (between campus rec fields complex and women’s softball field) as the only outdoors Safe Fly Zone, and only for recreational (non-commercial, non-research) flying.
