to be clear: none of our materials should be used for food.
For this class, the assignment is to prototype a food container delivery system for a ramen shop, though the broth/noodles are to be held in the specified purchased food-safe containers (so the liquid wouldn't really be stored in any FabLab materials)
That said, we have a few materials that could be considered soft:
- TPU (ninjaflex) : 3D printing filament ; can hold liquid
- Extruded PolyStyrene (sheet foam pink formula 150): for use with ShopBot ; not good for proper liquid storage, but could resist liquid if you are interested in containing a spill
you can read the full list of FabLab materials here: https://libraries.uta.edu/services/fablab/resources/materials
hope this helps!
